"Great location - walked to Fishermans Wharf, North Beach, Chinatown, Little Italy, Union Square, Lombard Street (steep, but hotel location was not a factor in that one). Room was noisy, one morning we did not have hot water (tepid), bathtub had been painted at one time & was peeling, did not receive adequate towels. We spent 3 nights there, overall we enjoyed our visit."

If you enjoy walking,this is perfect-can walk in any direction to numerous locations.Free parking, but checkout is at 11 and your car has to be moved out at 11 -- so do not expect to check out-do any last minute shopping and leave your car at the Inn
