"Stayed two nights over Valentine's Day weekend. Good location - Fisherman's wharf area, Polk and Lombard Street restaurants, shops. We were concerned about traffic noise off Van Ness Ave but it wasn't bad (there is less traffic on Van Ness north of Lombard). Staff was friendly; no problems with check-in; room was comfortable and clean. Free parking is a plus, but accessible from street; so as in any urban locale, don't leave anything showing in car. "
